One of the greatest comforts as the dark nights draw in and the temperature drops, is settling down by the fire (or radiator), sticking a good movie on and sipping a hot chocolate.
So let me share with you my favourite recipe. Place the following ingredients into a mug…
1 heaped tbsp of raw virgin organic coconut oil
1 tbsp raw cacao powder (not cocoa)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
A pinch of black pepper (for the turmeric absorption)
1 tsp Maca powder
1 tsp organic honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder, sea salt and ginger powder
Add heated coconut milk or almond milk, then stir.
