• Teflon Pans – Use stainless steel or cast iron instead
  • Plastic Food Containers – Use glass containers
  • Mobile/Cell Phones – Keep them at least 3 feet away from your body when not in use. Do not carry on you i.e. women in a bag carried on the shoulder which means the phone is in line with breast tissue. Men not in pockets which is close to reproductive areas. Put on airplane mode at night or even better, also keep out of the bedroom.
  • Cordless Phones – Use a corded phone
  • Mould is often hidden in bathrooms and other areas – Peace Lily plants are great at removing mould spores from the air. Look to get a specialist round to detect and prevent mould if you locate any, especially if you’re chronically ill.
  • Wireless Routers – Turn the router off before bed and hard line the router as soon
as possible. When you hard wire the router, make sure your computer WiFi is also switched off.
  • Smart TV’s – Remove the microwave emitting device – check YouTube for instructions. Hardwire to your router.
  • Living Too Close To Power Lines – Consider making a move. Also consider this for your child’s
    school.
  • Staying Up Past 10:30pm – Best time is to go to bed by 10pm. Every hour before midnight is worth 2 hours after midnight, as this is when the body performs its detox.
  • Getting Up After The Sun – Rise with the sun; shower, meditate and relax to improve sleep and overall health. This will help sync your circadian rhythm. If you’re not able to do this, consider getting a SAD light, which mimics the rising and setting of the sun.
  • Under Arm Deodorants with Aluminium – Use aluminium free and armpit detox.
  • Fluoride Tooth Pastes – Use fluoride free and also best to avoid carrageenan too, which
  • has been linked to cancer.
  • Fabric Softener and cleaning products – Swap with products as natural and clean as possible.
  • Make-up/beauty products – Same as above
  • Microwaves – They destroy the nutrients in food and emit EMFs. Remove from kitchen. Use a convection oven or heat/re-heat food on the hob.
  • Toxic Conventional Sunscreens – Under Arm Deodorants with Aluminium – Use aluminium free and armpit detox
  • Fluoride Tooth Pastes – Use fluoride free and also best to avoid carrageenan too, which

  • Toxic Conventional Sunscreens – Avoid seed oils and avoid direct sun exposure when the sun is at its hottest i.e. midday. Practise safe sun exposure. If you want to use sunscreen, use full spectrum and free from synthetic ingredients. The best option would be zinc oxide as it doesn’t penetrate / get absorbed by the skin.
  • The Toxic Coating Inside All Take Out Containers – Don’t re-use and especially never heat them.
  • Stale and Uncirculated Air Inside The Home – Open the windows for a daily air change (yes, even in the
  • Winter – 30 minutes can be enough).
  • Chemical Perfumes, Fragrances and Sprays – Swap for cleaner, organic versions or make your own with high quality essential oils and herbs/flowers.
  • Chlorine In Swimming Pools – Try to find a salt water pool instead. If chlorine is the only option available, apply carrot seed oil to the skin to form a protective barrier.
  • Chlorine, Fluoride, Metals, Parasites And Other Contaminants In Tap Water – Use a distiller, filter or obtain spring water. Consider a whole house filtration system so that you also shower, wash your clothes and cook your food in clean water. I have the Aquatiere system (U.K.).
  • Commercial Low Quality Vitamins, Protein Powders, Supplements – Cheap products are just as bad as more toxins
  • Light from TV or Computer Screen After Sun Down – Minimise screen time and wear blue light protective glasses (I use BluBlox – they’re the best on the market and block the full spectrum)
  • Composite wood flooring products like hardwood, bamboo and laminate – Switch to high quality Vinyl from companies such as Karndean (phthalate free, low in volatile compounds, “Global Greentag”).
  • Synthetic carpets – Opt for natural materials i.e. wool. That new carpet smell = toxins. Keep windows open and door to the room shut after freshly laying a new carpet, preferably until the new carpet smell has gone.
  • Plug-in fragrances – Replace with a diffuser and high quality Essential Oils.
  • Car air freshener – Remove. Open the windows for regular air changes to keep the air clean.
  • Internet router location – Make sure this is not in a bedroom where someone sleeps. Best kept wherever you spend the least amount of time and furthest away from the bedrooms i.e. downstairs, perhaps near the front door / hallway.
