Stress is one of the biggest killers – we’ve all heard that phrase. We all get stressed from time to time, but it’s important to manage stress effectively when we do. What I found helpful is having a go-to list of de-stress methods. These will be individual to each of us as we have our own passions and past times.

I’m sharing mine here to help inspire you to think of your own. I keep this handy list on my phone, so that when I feel down, stressed, anxious or uninspired, I choose one of the items on my list to help!

  • Listening to country music
  • Writing and playing music on my piano
  • Taking epsom salt and essential oil baths
  • Reading a book
  • Taking a nap
  • Visiting my parents
  • Grabbing a coffee with a friend
  • Cuddling my parent’s dogs
  • Lying in front of a log burner
  • Going for a walk or a drive
  • Watching a comedy
  • Preparing, making and drinking fresh juice
  • Getting a massage
  • Cuddles with my boyfriend
  • Putting on my essential oil diffuser
  • Taking hot showers and singing loudly
  • Practising gratitude for everything I have in life
  • Enjoying a glass of red wine
  • Working out at the gym with a pumping playlist
  • Going to my weekly yoga class

Create your list and keep it somewhere handy. Next time you’re feeling anxious or stressed, choose your remedy and start to feel great again! 🙂
